Acting
On screen Andre has worked with directors Ron Howard and Gillian Armstrong, making his film debut with Oscar and Lucinda, in 1997. Recently, he has worked with Natalie Erika James, Liza Johnson and Emma Cooper. On stage he has worked with Deborah Warner and Oliver Mears, both known for their theatre and operatic works. He has trodden the boards at the Sydney Theatre Company, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Edinburgh Fringe and the Barbican in London.
Music
Andre is a singer and saxophone player, performing with a number of groups, from jazz duos through to swing big bands, including blues and rock bands along the way. He has played at venues from Ronnie Scotts in London, to the Phantom Of The Opera, on Sydney Harbour, where he had a long standing residency. Currently, he plays and sings with a Richmond Big Band.
